MAN WITH A PLAN ... Roy Hodgson
ROY HODGSON is adamant his Liverpool masterplan is still on target — despite Saturday's woeful humbling at Stoke.
Hodgson had to listen to fans chanting for Kenny Dalglish's return during the 2-0 defeat, even though owner John W Henry has urged dissenters not to take it out on the manager.
But the Kop boss remains convinced that one setback will not derail the confidence discovered in a previous six-game unbeaten run.
Hodgson insisted: "We didn't achieve what we set out to do at Stoke but that shouldn't give us reason to doubt what we are capable of.
"The more we work together, the more the players become attuned to what we want, the more I don't think I need to fear that one setback in six is going to throw us back into a very bad situation."
