Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has passed a fitness test and will be present against Wolves on Saturday despite suffering from a virus.
The Red Devils boss has been struck down by illness which first materialised on the flight home from the midweek trip to Bursaspor in the UEFA Champions League.
It is the same virus that prevented four squad members from travelling to Turkey for the European clash on Tuesday.
Ferguson was absent from his weekly press conference on Friday but assistant Mike Phelan confirmed he would be in the dugout at Old Trafford.
"The manager has been ill since coming back from Turkey," said Phelan.
"He came down with a virus yesterday. He felt a little bit like that on the flight coming back.
"Yesterday he felt worse, so we have kept him away from the club for a little while.
"It is related to the virus that has been going around.
"It is one of those things that gets hold of you and is hard to shake off but he will be at the game tomorrow."
