QPR vice-chairman Amit Bhatia has revealed that the Championship club's ambition is to seal promotion and then go on a spending spree in order to get into the Champions League.
"We have a target. We will make it happen no matter what it takes, within reason," he said. "The dream is to get into the Champions League and if we are promoted we will put our hands in our pockets.''
The club are currently second in the Championship, two points behind Cardiff City, and Bhatia says that if they should find themselves in the top flight next season, then they will be looking to challenge at the top of the league.
"My father-in-law didn't get where he is settling to finish fourth. We want to finish top," he added.

They seem to be more willing to pay compensation packages to their managers than to spend it on players..
QPR seems to be prudent in its spending.
that is the better way to go.
