Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has confirmed that striker Roque Santa Cruz is surplus to requirements at Eastlands.
"Roque is a fantastic man and a good player, but he knows the situation here," said Mancini.
"I am very sorry for him because Roque deserves to play every game, because he works very well.
"But it is difficult at the moment. I hope for him that he can go to play for another team, because he deserves this."
skysports.
yesh come villa replace carew!!
Villa seems good...but honestly, any clubs will seemed good.
Mark Hughes has expressed his interest.
He'd be a good replacement for Zamora, who's out injured.
surplus? why sign him in the first place?
i think mancini should be the one to leave.
city lost to wolves. i cannot believe this!!
Santa Cruz was signed by Mark Huges, not Mancini mah.
yeah, leave lah, but the problems is, who can pay his wages at man city.
haha.
i think santa would rather go out on loan, get city wages and play regular football too. best of both world.
Haiz
if he didnt leave Blackburn for Man City
if santa can turn back the clock, he would also join man city. because of double your pay. not all footballers can resist the lure of money and consider on footballing terms only.
rooney for example do you believe he sign new contract purely because man utd will spent on new players? then why alex ferguson just came out days ago saying no more jan signing? while rooney wages almost double.
