Tevez wants City to think small . . .
The Argentine hit the winner to end runaway leaders Chelsea's 100 per cent record at the weekend.
But City have beaten the big boys before only to immediately let themselves down against smaller clubs.
In August they thrashed Liverpool 3-0 only to lose at Sunderland and draw with Blackburn.
Now Tevez has Newcastle and Blackpool in sight and insists City must capitalise on their Chelsea triumph.
The new Eastlands skipper said: "We always play very well against the big teams but the important thing now is we concentrate and play the same game against the smaller teams.
"If we can do that it will take us to the next level."
Tevez admits his winner against Chelsea was vital to keep City in touch at the top.
Tevez, who has hit four goals in three games against Carlo Ancelotti's side, said: "This was a great result in the battle for the Championship. It was really important we won.
"I like playing against most teams but seem to make a special mark against Chelsea.
"We are becoming a strong team and as captain it's important I give them the strength and spirit to continue this way."
Team-mate Yaya Toure said: "It was a big win but now we have to show more consistency."
isn't he smart??????
