Two men arrested for stealing cables from vacant camp

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested two men for stealing cables from a former army camp at Ulu Pandan Road.
The incident happened on early Tuesday morning when four security officers saw two men running away from the vacant camp towards Holland Road.
Police, subsequently, arrested the two men.
A plastic canvas bag containing an assortment of cables and a cloth bag containing two cutters, a hammer and two screwdrivers were recovered.
A motorcycle was also located at the scene - a stolen vehicle, valued at almost S$3,000.
