(we went bowling in sch's guildhouse).

ME (looking him in the eye) "Sir, i helped a blind man cross the road, then missed the bus. The bus comes every 10 mins sir."
CSM (incredulous look) "YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THIS COCK AND BULL STORY?! I IN ARMY XXX YEARS NOBODY DARE USE THIS EXCUSE!"
ME (maintaining composure) "Sir it's the truth sir. I would give you a better excuse but it really happened."
CSM (confused) "Okay okay, don't do that again."
ME "Don't do what sir? Be late, or help blind men across the street?"
CSM (raises hand to konok my head)

TRUE STORY! But be warned can only be used ONCE. Or you can one-up, say you're living next to a blind man and offered to help him cross the road everyday. Then claim your Best Soldier award for the rest of your NS. -
