  Positive result but performance-wise, mega frustrating to see Man Utd's sloppy performance.

  Nerves probably.....so many times they passed into the box but either it didn't connect with anyone, wrong timings or they tripped over the ball. More so than other matches.

  These days when utd plays in the EPL, they normally get lucky because the other teams don't wrestle over possession like how the spaniards do.

  And the speed of play....is not like the old days. Possibly because of giggs and scholes?

  Reminds me of what mourinho said many years ago when chelsea taiko...."we have the luck of champions". Hahahaha.....this kind of BS also can.

  But Murphy really did went down too easily. It seems the ball got stuck under his legs and when he felt Carrick touching his back, he just went skydiving style with all 4 spread open kind. The referee couldn't have been more closer and didn't even react with his arms to suggest play on. It was like he didn't even think the need to do that.

  His linesman also didn't react at it. And that tells you they didn't think or wasn't totally sure it was or should be a penalty. Or course Fergie is entitled to his opinion, but the referee was at a much better position than him anyway...

  In the end, it was a case of a possibility yet not a necessary.

  Anyway, i didn't like the way Fulham sets out yesterday... They came solely to park the bus and didn't try even when they went down 1-0.

  United had to keep their patience for a long time and finally got the reward from a lucky break.
