EPL Game 23
Manchester United :
De Gea, Rafael, Smalling, Evans, Evra, Park, Carrick, Valencia, Berbatov, Welbeck, Hernandez, Ezekiel Fryers.
Doubtful - Ferdinand, Fabio, Jones, Nani, Anderson, Rooney, Young, Giggs
Loan Out - Macheda
Out - Vidic, Fletcher, Cleverley, Owen, Lindegaard.
But Lindegaard was left screaming in agony after injuring an ankle in training and United's medical team fear he has damaged ligaments.
It is the last news boss Alex Ferguson needed after crashing out of the FA Cup to their big rivals.
And 21-year-old De Gea was again under fire for his display at Anfield.
The Spaniard failed to deal with a corner for Liverpool's opener in the 2-1 loss, dropped a simple cross and knocked one clearance straight to Stewart Downing.
Fergie's selection of De Gea at Anfield had raised eyebrows after 27-year-old Lindegaard appeared to have stolen a march in the battle to be United's first-choice keeper.
He had played in all but the Boxing Day loss to Blackburn in United's last six games and was set to get a recall against Stoke.
But now Fergie will be forced to stick with De Gea for the arrival of Tony Pulis' heavy artillery at Old Trafford.
United are also set to be without Wayne Rooney again after he missed Saturday's defeat with a damaged ankle.
But Rio Ferdinand, on the bench at Anfield, will be back in action.
Winger Nani is also close to a return after suffering a badly-bruised foot and could feature in Sunday's trip to Chelsea.
Phil Jones, who injured an ankle in the league win over Arsenal, is also nearing a comeback.
beat stoke and united are level with city. see who will crack
Aiyo every week one player injured.
Funny
where the Polish GK?
he like MIA wor
De Gea is veri happy lia0
If Man U played like they did against Liverpool, Stoke is in for a thrashing.
De Gea will kena outjumped by Crouch
same scoreline again
Apparently De Gea also sick, no surprise if Amos gets his chance today. Amos at least got balls and don't rely entirely on ref.
We shall see, Scholes needs to play today. When he's off, minus Rooney, the team just crumbles, as you saw a few days ago. Scholes may not be the answer to our problems, but he is definitely a huge influence. I actually am looking forward to Scholes/Cleverley partnership in midfield.
Also... our players... quite... umm... paper ah.
Gibson did United a big favour even after he leave... lol.
Apparently his long range shot sent city to another lost... What a good soldier Gibson is...
wow today is a fruitful day as city lost to everton. united is now tied on points with city. the april crunch match will probably decide, whoever win the match, wins the league title, fair to say that.
Sometimes all one needs is a breath of fresh air.....He was misfiring long range shots all season and now he's scored a vital goal.
gibson, like ben foster, are ok for clubs like everton, but for a big club at united, they are simply average or mediocre. you need to be world class at united. the judgment for De Gea is dunno if he will make it or not? if he doesnt make it, then too bad.
I said before Gibson is those shoot 20 times 19 will fly into orbit kind, 1 heng heng go in.
Just like Ronaldo's freekicks, always hits the wall. But too bad Gibson doesn't have other attributes to offer like Ronny.
Joe Hart is the suay suay one not to saved that
