ironically united did well travelling than at home. united already lost 2 home games and drawn 1 at home this season.

sorry to dissapoint u guys,Newcastle just uosetted Man U 3-0!it's 3-0 for Newcastle.!and the last goal was from a goalkick fr the Newcastle goalkeeper towards Man U goalarea and maybe a slight touch fr Phil Jones head and stright into goal!the Man U goalkeeper Linders Lindergaard was out of position challenging a Newcatle player !idiot goalkeeper worse than De gea!

the current man u squad is the weakest ever in the last 10 yrs.

United deserved to lose without a doubt.
The defense and and central midfield were very weak all match.
I hope this result will wake fergie up cos the likes of Carrick and Park isn't good enough. Rio is now no longer effective in defense. Jones is also a much better player at right-back and defensive midfielder than in central defense.
Overall, United were very poor. If Fergie still don't want to wake up and solve the problem after this display, then this season is over. In defense, there is Cahill for the picking at $7m only a real bargain deal who will give you pace, height and strength which Rio is losing fast.
As for the most impressive player, I thought Tiote, what a good young players that will make it into any of the top epl sides apart from City. And Ba, what can you say about this fellow... He is probably at the RVP and Aguero level right now in terms of form.
I think Newcastle must be counting their blessing on losing Carroll otherwise they might never see Ba in their jersey. And to think he came free...

From the very beginning, midfield dominated by newcastle, defense out-muscled by Ba.
Rooney 1st touch was terrible and always caught in no man's land. Nani was tracked by 4 defender once the ball is at his feet. Great team work shown by newcastle. Spot on tactic by Pardew...
1st and 2nd goal, really bo wei gong... 3rd goal, due to lack of communication plus I can tell that they've given up on the match, ball didn't came off Jones's head, it came off his knee...
I turned up to watch the match, but man utd didn't...

sigh. its a heavy defeat at newcastle. when was the last time united lost heavily at newcastle, except in 1996 or 1997 when united lost 5-0.
Its a sign of things to come worse for united when Vidic is ruled out of the season. without his leadership and battling quality and with rio being injury prone and out of form and pace, united defence is the weakest if I can remember for at least 4-5 seasons. Evra also sucks at left back and united doesnt even have a stable right back this season, with rafael, fabio, smalling, Jones and Valencia all playing at RB this season.
United may end up empty ended this season. if united were to lose to man city at the fa cup, it is almost 95% that united will win nothing this season, esp when united is out of league cup and CL already.

One surprise stats mentioned on Tv is, despite United's poor run, they actually have more points than they ever had at this stage since the premier league started... Interesting right?

so far it seems the top teams all 'dont want the title.' - they keep dropping points.
i hope spurs win the premiership this season.

I think City winning should be better if United don't. Cos City is driven by the owner, a wealthy Sheikh who wants it at all cost. But once he has achieved that feast, his interest won't be as strong as before or like now currently. Therefore, the earlier they win it, the faster he will lose interest in them.
People who criticized United must realise something. This season they are hit with very serious injury conditions. Long term injury to important members. Therefore, it won't be easy. But despite this, yet it was mentioned on fanzone that they have more points at this stage than at anytime in the last 20 years.
So the team isn't exactly doing very badly, just that they are unfortunate with injuries and City's financial strength is really showing. But if you take City out of the equation, United are still doing very good despite the injuries they have got to date.
And i want to say even if they don't win anything this season, it won't bother me. But if they don't get into the CL, than i will start to worry cos the CL place is more important than winning the carling, fa or europa cups to me.
