all these are winnable games. the trip to newcastle is daunting. united would do well with 1 point there.
MUFC seems to be scraping the bottom for players, and while games seems winnable, may take a lot out of the remaining players barring injuries or suspensions (touch wood).
let's hope MUFC emerge with some pts or goals advantages and from christmas led the charge till may.
Actually this could be a very tough game for United. QPR isn't an easy opponent, moreover, they are at home where they beat Chelsea and even City struggle to beat them... United need all the luck they can get from this match...
yes QPR isnt easy at their den, as city struggled to beat them 3-2. united will have a hard time, with its midfielder depleting by the day. 1 point will be considered well earned at QPR.
cannot 1 point! every match must be a 3 points!!!
United have to practically use almost the same players in their next 5 matches in 16 days when we take out the likes of Diouf, Gibson and Macheda.
Then Giggs may be able to play 2 of the 5 if you want him in a top level. All that is left are the current ones who may have to play more now... Newcomer Ezekiel Fryers and Paul Pogba has been brought in to help in the numbers...
Looking at the squad left, United have a back four that is made up of 4 players only, perhaps Jones may have to fill in at times but he is also needed in the midfield... Rio can't play more than 3 games in this 16 days i think or we risk him getting injured.
In our midfield, take out the wingers and we only have one natural midfielder...
Not looking good... Let's hope no more injuries from here on...
De Gea, Lindegaard.
Smalling, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra,
Park, Carrick, Jones, Giggs,
Young, Nani, Valencia,
Rooney, Welbeck, Berbatov
oh man I see evans in the lineup. I have no confidence in him. whenever he plays, I worry. he isnt good enough to play for united. maybe sunderland is good enough for him to play there
Rooney scored 1-0 under 1 min. good start
cant believe evans missed a header from a sitter. he should pass up the chance for rooney to be in that position in the first place.
damn even Jones missed one on one with the goalie, goalie saved it. united should be 3-0 up by now.
A very good result as QPR is a very difficult place to go and get full points. Anyway, United played rather well i would say... Nani on form again finally... Jones is such a good player and full of energy too... The boy can play as a midfielder like he was made to all along... Cover lots of ground in Fletcher's absence. So happy we got him and not Pool.
Loftus Road really difficult to get points? But today Sunday Times mentioned that they have one of the worst defensive records of the 2nd half in the BPL.
Well, if they can beat Chelsea and City struggled and made to fight really hard to come away 2-3 only, it tells you they up their game when the bigger clubs come to town. Even the high flying Newcastle during their best moment earlier on couldn't win there... Last week, Pool only manage 1-0 at Anfield against them... They have players who raise their game when they play against the big boys as they have shown. That's why they are a tough opponent at this time.
this is one of the best united performances this season, esp away form, as QPR home form is quite good.
united should have score 4,5, 6 goals, I dunno. but should be more than 2-0 if they are more clinical in front of goal. carrick goal was superd solo from centre midfield run.
