a draw will be suffice. just pack the midfield w 5 players, fletcher and Jones to do the dirty work and Rooney as lone striker, should be enough.

Before you say anything, I am a united fan for more than a dozen years, but really disappointed in their game... unlike the last time giggs/beckham/scholes years, everytime they attack, you sense something is going to happen from anywhere left right center... now the play is so predictable, their passing can intercept so easily because too obvious... and they depend too much on 1 person lah, nani, he is really the best so far but cannot depend on 1 person lah!!!
damn angry actually but for a person watching the match, it's a good result so far, because otherwise not exciting mah... besides united can only blame themselves lah... in a group with weaker teams, it seems they look down on opponents... should have secured the qualifications first mah...

everytime johnny evans comes on, the match becomes 12 players for opponent and united playing with 10 players... evans is a joker, very scared, anytime can give penalty or come out stun... -
Disappointed. No faith for the rest of the season. The great start was a fluke. I rather they just withdraw from Europa and focus on BPL.
Never learn lesson, continue to waste time to thread through eye of the needle playing in the middle. Got two capable wingers, and two capable wing backs for wing play to pump crosses in but no.
Stupid. Really stupid. United really did not deserve to win, every game since before Chelsea, first 10 mins play very well, after that become useless.After that Vidic injury everything went to shit. Dunno why don't pull Jones back and put Carrick on, but no Evans again, dunno wtf SAF see in him. Young and Nani suddenly dunno how to dribble. One or two good moments early on.
Sigh stayed up to watch this kind of performance again, forever going to bed frustrated, disappointed and angry. Not at referee, not at opponent, forever complacent. -

Beat City in FA draw? Hahahaha fat hope. City can take out Bayern so easily. This will be another thrashing, United should just park bus and not bother.
January no movement = forget about title, injury after injury, team suddenly made of paper this season.
I already told kopi (another old forummer) last week after the Newcastle match, if he want to bet for this match, don't bother, I really cannot see United winning it and qualifying. And look what happened.
Sure maybe I'm a terrible fan to wish my team ill luck, but seriously this kind of performance, week after week, I'm amazed how we managed all those 1-0 wins after the City beating.
This weekend will not be exciting for sure. I was entertained more by Chelsea vs Valencia yesterday somemore. Hoping Chelsea can do us a favour and take City out on Monday. And obviously another fucking 1-0 win just so we can keep up or take advantage if Chelsea does beat City. -

United vs City for FA cup tie, if midweek, is the final game I will stay up so late for this season. Can't be bothered for this season already. Heck lose also it WILL BE the final midweek non-league game anyway.
Alot to ask for to redeem themselves with that match but heh, seriously whatever. This season is a fluke.

United deserved to be out cos despite having more of the possession, they didn't know how to attack and this has been going on for a while now. Pass here, pass there but no one dare to take it forward and strike.
I hope this result will finally wake Fergie up and go out and get a creative midfielder... The owners or Fergie i don't know who don't want to pay for one with Fergie keep saying he can't see value for money or anyone who can improve his midfield... I can see dozens of them if you look hard enough...
The cost of not paying for a creative attacking midfielder is now showing...

They are in the process of re-building again and need more time to be strong again.
Alex already went through a few round of re-building the squad.
They can chase for the BPL title if City slips.
But, that is the KPI for Mancini this season.

united really didnt deserve to go thru in a not so strong group and united can actually finished third? Basel and Benfica are not exactly a strong team in Europe, but they cant even beat them at home and just needing a 1 point to qualify. united may hand up empty handed this season.

been saying this for a couple of seasons liao lor. united midfield is stale with the same old players. aiya no money say no money lar. I think his hands is tied with no more money after spending on young, de gea and jones.
