  Howard Webb will take charge when Arsenal play champions Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

  Referee Neil Swarbrick has been overlooked for this weekend’s top flight fixtures after dismissing Norwich City’s Leon Barnett and awarding Stoke City a penalty in Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Carrow Road.

  Replays showed Barnett’s minor tussle with Jon Walters took place outside the area.

  After attracting criticism from West Ham boss Sam Allardyce following Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Leeds United, Michael Oliver will have to contend with QPR boss Neil Warnock at Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

  Warnock questioned the promotion of young referees and accused Oliver, now 26, of ‘sprinting before he could walk’ after his Crystal Palace side lost to Watford in the FA Cup in January 2009.

  Darren Fletcher in United squad to face Arsenal

   

  

  FIT AGAIN ... Darren Fletcher

  DARREN FLETCHER is in the Manchester United squad to face Arsenal after recovering from a stomach virus.

  .

  The Scotland midfielder, 27, last featured for the Red Devils in the final game of tlast season.

  He had been sidelined for two months between early March and early May by the virus, which caused sudden weight loss.

  He suffered a relapse over the summer but received another boost today when he was named in the Scotland squad for the Euro 2012 qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Lithuania.

  United manager Alex Ferguson said: "Fletcher is in our squad."

  Fergie also revealed defender Rio Ferdinand was back in training following a hamstring injury and winger Antonio Valencia was training well following an ankle injury.

  Ferguson expects captain Nemanja Vidic to be out for another month with a calf problem.

  United face an Arsenal side who have taken just one point from their opening two league games.

  Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has found himself under unprecedented pressure in recent weeks, although their progress to the Champions League group stage in midweek has eased it.

  Ferguson was astounded at the suggestion his great rival's position could be under threat.

  He added: "Who would replace Arsene Wenger? What he has done over the last 15 years... he is the best manager in Arsenal's history."

Doubts over the fitness of Thomas Vermaelen and Laurent Koscielny are also a grave concern, with no experienced alternatives available. United have won six of their last seven meetings with Arsenal at Old Trafford in all competitions, conceding just two goals, and were rampant in the second half against Tottenham on Monday night.
