Manchester United v Bolton, Saturday 11pm
Jonny Evans and Park Ji-sung are set to return for United when the Premier League leaders tackle Bolton at Old Trafford tomorrow.
But the Red Devils are beset by injuries, with skipper Nemanja Vidic remaining on the sidelines with a calf problem where he is joined by Rio Ferdinand, Darren Fletcher, John O'Shea and Rafael amongst others.
Boss Alex Ferguson will not be there either as he starts a five-match touchline ban after accepting his punishment by the Football Association yesterday.
Squad: Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Amos, Smalling, Brown, Evans, Evra, Fabio, Gibson, Scholes, Carrick, Obertan, Park, Bebe, Giggs, Rooney, Berbatov, Hernandez, Owen and King.
Injury nightmare: Owen Hargreaves
Manchester United's defensive injury crisis is so severe that Sir Alex Ferguson is considering recalling Owen Hargreaves to his squad to face Bolton as an emergency right back.
With Rafael and John O'Shea joining Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic on the sidelines, Jonny Evans doubtful and Gary Neville now retired, Ferguson could turn to a player who has managed just six minutes of first-team football in two-and-a-half years.
Hargreaves has trained all week after lengthy treatment in Germany and was withdrawn from a reserve game against Sunderland on Thursday.
The injury-plagued midfielder, 30, has battled to overcome chronic knee trouble since signing from Bayern Munich for £17million in 2007 and his last appearance for United against Wolves in November was cut short after only five minutes due to a hamstring injury.

• United have not lost three Premier League games in a row since December 2001
• Bolton won twice in a row at Old Trafford in 2001-02 and 2002-03 but have lost on every visit since
• Javier Hernández has scored 10 league goals from just 14 shots on targets this season
• Only half of the last 10 penalties faced by Jussi Jaaskelainen in the top flight have been scored – four saved, one missed
• United have avoided defeat in all but one of the 25 matches in all competitions in which Chris Smalling has featured
hmm rooney seems really alive today..
but they arent clicking yet :/
their wet hair are probably bothering them..
they should get some drying in the changing room
oh comon~ we need to win this game!!
1-0 to Manchester with 10 men!
wa..heng..heng HENG,!
evan..somebody wan to buy him bo?
Actually, i think farking stupid Evan's sent off galvanised the team. Led by the ever fighting Wayne Rooney, United were relentless in their attacks. Wave after wave and finally the break through when Jussi spilled the ball into Berbatov's path. Bolton were unlucky, Taylor should have and would have won it for Bolton because Carrick switched off.
Again, United's winning run coincides with Rooney's brilliant form. He should be scoring by now but heck, his all round contribution won United the game.
But wasted la, West Brom threw away a 2 goal lead against Arsenal which would have made the BPL even more interesting.
evans was sent off, rightly so, as it was studs first. I felt that if smalling cleared properly moments earlier, evans wouldnt be put in that position.
And our loanee Tom Cleverley struck for Wigan yet again. I'm really impressed at this guy's progress. How come the spotlight was with Wilshere when he did well at Bolton and Sturridge too but no one mentioned this young chap?
big big 3 points.
the whole team played like shit, probably the mid week CL exertions, or fergie first match at the stands, so nobody to bark at them on the dugout, hence they were so relaxed in the first half. I slept on my bed during the first half, when it was so boring and Bolton, I think dominated the proceedings in the first half.

You might as well go futher back, Van der Sar took his time to clear and made a mess. Smalling kan jiong cos no vidic to cover his ass and makes this shit bigger. Evans took the shit with him to the changing room lor.
btw, the phone thing is quite funny. How Fergie communicates with his staff. I'd not be surprise if the headline reads "Hello, I would like to order a Berbatov please? Top up with a goal. Thanks! "
Eh?
Blessing in disguise that Evans won't be available for the West Ham match?
Considering how shitty he was against them in the Carling Cup.
arsenal dropped 2 points, but still got a game in hand, but united have a 5 points gap.
united need to get a quality CB to replace ferdinand, he is finished to me. Smalling is still learning his ropes, probably he will be the long term replacement for Vidic in a few years time, but not now. I hope fergie go buy a goalie, playmaker midfielder and a centre back for next season.

You can say the formation itself is questionable. Giggs in the middle? He was busy drifting out of position that left it badly exposed. Carrick made a few good blocks but his passing is terrible. Too bad Muamba is not a top class midfielder to take advantage of this situation.
Evans is rusty. Super rusty. Luckily Smalling has been playing regularly if not I really fear for the worst.
Nani is not used to playing on the left and Valencia seemed to not have overcome his fear of running against defender after his injury. I missed his lung-bursting runs but we have not seen that for quite a while havent we?
Rooney is dropping deeper and deeper while Chicharito is wandering forward and forward, naturally a substitution is required to neutralised the situation and that's why Berbatov is summoned. He plays in the centre forward position that feeds off Rooney's passes which makes their partnership quite deadly on their form days.

Smalling is built to replace Ferdinand leh. But honestly, how many player nowadays would stick around to become substitute? Maybe Gary Cahill? He's quite solid today. Damn, or that Weather too. I've noticed him since his Boro days and he's quite a good backup.

They would have dropped all points had West Brom have the mentality to hold on to a 2 goal lead!

Actually he have to thank to Ben Foster for giving him that opportunity... lol.
Arsenal, with their mentality, how to win EPL title this season. they are dropping points both home and away.

United themselves aren't exactly playing week-in week-out as if their Championship quality either leh.
