Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is reportedly making a last attempt to sign Sunderland midfielder Jordan Henderson in front of bitter rivals Manchester United, according to The Mirror.
The newspaper revealed last week that the 20-year-old would prefer a move to United because of a higher chance of receiving regular first-team football.
However, reports suggest that Mancini remains a massive fan of the youngster – who was hailed as “the best young British footballer around” by manager Steve Bruce.
It is estimated that it will cost City £20 million to lure Henderson to Eastlands.
hmmm, given their massive warchests, they may want to buy first, and discard later if can't perform..
will truly depends on what the players/agents want.. hopefully, money/wages, won't blind them to see how some major clubs/their managers have helped to develop players' potentials and put them on the world map.
btw, i tot welbeck may be a makeweight in this transfer...
oops, city has more makeweights available.. (no offense)..
It'll be an exciting signing if it's true, United really lacked the spark in the centre of the field.
wow is he really as good as claimed? So far I have seen him run at defenders and put some decent crosses into the box, that's all.
Well, he is young and have good potential i guess...

would you put him side by side and compare to gingerhead at his age?
