Actually, technically speaking, he signed for United (Smiling and posing and all) only to claim that he was "forced" to sign. United, or rather Fergie, knows that it's important only to keep contented players (think of the sale of Stam, Becks, Keane, Ronaldo, etc) so they negotiated with Chelsea and managed to get 12m for a player who has not make a single appearance for the team.
Now does Bebe's deal sound familiar?

Well, even if they had got him... At $4m only, he isn't too bad lah, and who knows, he can still improve so still can accept. But since they got $12m for him without even paying the initial $4m which Chelsea also paid for them and he haven't even step onto Old Trafford, I guess it's a good deal to date lor... Unless he suddenly becomes a super defensive midfielder, then United's loss lah.

he isnt that good at chelsea. he is chelsea's favourite fall guy, just like fletcher was in 2004-2005 season.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Mikel is supposedly an attacking midfielder. He is in that role for his country Nigeria and I believe the coach of Nigeria was upset that Chelsea played him in the wrong position, causing him to lose his attacking instincts.
