Manchester United midfielder Anderson is a target for Panathinaikos, according to reports in Greece.
Reports emanating from Greece claim Panathinaikos are thought to be considering a loan deal for Anderson in the January transfer window, with a view to a permanent move.
Anderson's future at Old Trafford has been the subject of speculation in recent months with the Brazilian struggling to hold down a regular place in Sir Alex Ferguson's side.
Panathinaikos sports director Carlos Freitas is believed to have enquired about Anderson's situation at United by contacting the midfielder's agent Jorge Mendes.
The Greek club are in the market for a new midfielder with Gilberto Silva expected to leave at the end of the season and Anderson is thought to be among their top targets.
Anderson's former club Porto have also been linked with a move for the player, but it remains to be seen if United would be willing to let him leave the club.
