Calling it quits: Brown has called time on England
Wes Brown announcing his England retirements hours after a recall.
An FA statement read: 'Wes Brown came to the England team hotel this evening to meet with and tell Fabio Capello in person.'
Brown said in a statement: ‘After a lot of thought and with a very heavy heart, I have decided the time is right.
'I feel it is right for me to stand aside and let younger players come through.
‘I regard it as an honour to have represented my country.’

its good that he retired, because it may just prolong his united career, esp when he is so injury prone all his career.
