Dutch star tipped for United move
Former Chelsea star Arjen Robben is tipping his Holland team-mate Wesley Sneijder to quit Inter Milan for Manchester United.
Sneijder had been heavily linked with a £29 Million move to Old Trafford, but Sir Alex Ferguson recently denied he had made a formal bid for the ace.
Robben is convinced the 26-year-old is worth every penny and thinks United would be making a mistake if they didn't try and get him.
The Bayern Munich star, who was in the Dutch side which lost 1-0 to Spain in the World Cup, still expects Sneijder to eventually make the move to England despite Ferguson's comments.
He said: "Sneijder for me is the best player in the world over the last 12 months. Lionel Messi is clearly a fantastic talent but it's almost too easy to say he is the best now. "
I personally think there is a very good chance he will join Manchester United.
I am a big admirer of Paul Scholes, he is one of the best players of his generation, and I honestly think Sneijder is the only player in the world capable of replacing him."
