although the oldies lacked pace, but they are good coming off the bench if united is chasing for an equaliser. their experiences will help in that aspect. plus its an option for fergie to ponder, doesnt mean he has to play them.

fergie strategy is stop ribery and robben from playing, by asking evra and rafael to stop them by hook or by crook. it works, but rafael is on a yellow for a silly petulant kick. he must be wary that another mistimed tackle will render him a second yellow card and red card sending off.

they cant cope with the high tempo direct football at them. thats why they practically camped into their own half for long periods. but united tired late in the first half and bayern began to take control of proceedings after they pulled one goal back.

United need to get one more or two... Wasted that Rafael too selfish. Had he pass to Rooney who was unmark and in the centre, United would have been up by another...
Anyway, United are performing very well i should say. Cos this Bayern side isn't an easy team to play against...
This match is still far from over. But at least it's entertaining and United are playing better than Sunday.

I worry for Rafael cos he is already on a silly yellow... If he gets sent off, It could hurt United.
