  2 mistakes.

  Number 1 - Wrong formation. In order for the 4-5-1 formation to succeed, the lone striker must be skillful,hardworking and has great stamina. Rooney and Tevez are such strikers. Berbatov is not a striker that suit 4-5-1.

  Number 2 - No threat at the left flank. Concentrate too much on the right. Upset the whole balance.

  The central midfield is the weak point again.We can't even provide any service to the striker. If we had played 4-4-2, we would be in deeper crap since our 2 central midfielder is too weak and slow. Something is wrong here...Flecther and Park needs to protect the likes of Scholes and harrass Chelsea players in their own half.

  I would sub Scholes for Carrick and Valencia for Nani.
