This guy is out for personal glory. He has reiterated his desire to win the hat trick of leagues in england, italy and spain. He has already done so for the first two. Once he's ready, he will move to spain and look at madrid...they are waiting.
If he takes charge of man u, I'm sure he will start his flame wars crap. I thought fergie is sometimes controversial enough. Imagine ferguson after winning 2 EPLs and then he says he would like to win the leagues in other countries. The foundation would not be solid for the future years to come.
Man u made ferguson famous, or rather the other way round. The same happened with Matt Busby. And they were loyal to only one club. They shouldn't be looking at someone who's already successful, it is likely that he's a mercenary, waiting to move on to another club when the going gets tough. A few years ago when chelsea won back to back titles, fergie was always booed by the crowd, asking him to stand down. But he persisted and won the title 3 times in a row.
Now question mark is, where do we find another fergie? hehe. He had the patience to wait almost another decade for the european cup aka UCL. Which manager has ever done that before?
Well, what you mentioned of Jose is true but we can also look at it from another point of view. I think once he have gather all 3 league titles from their respective countries, the desire to go other leagues won appeal to him anymore. Another to note was, I don't think Jose was looking to leave Chelsea so soon... It's because Roman sack him that is why he left and he wasn't allow to take on another English club for that period. But when he was done with that period of time, there was no top English clubs looking for a manager. Inter came along and they represented a good option. Cos the owner is rich, they were the champions of Italy and keeping them winning wasn't too difficult as well...
I think the reason why Jose favour United over the others is because he has seen how they have treated Fergie... And the club name will also give him an extra edge to his already huge ego.
To be frank, it's impossible to replace Fergie... The guy has overlook almost everything at United. From how the players are treated to protected from the media to signing youth players to bringing them into the first team... And more importantly, everyone is discipline. No one dare to go up against the power of the manager... And anyone who is foolish enough to do so will be dealt with before it spread to other players... It's not easy to keep it like this as not every club players respect their managers...
Jose is a good manager for the first team but I have not seen him bring any youth players or buy a young player and make him big. Tactic wise he is very good to the details during matches. But outside matches, he still has a long way to go to reach Fergie's level... Cos it's this part that can keep and prolong the success for the club...
Fergie retirement will be the biggest lost for United in decades... And it will make Losing Robson, Cantona, Keane, Beckham, Ruud, Ronaldo all look like nothing... Losing great players is nothing compare to losing the whole system... It will be a sad day for all United fans the day Fergie retires... And United may never be the same again...
best is to get O Neil from Villa or Moyes.
boring leh....his style. And he got a foul mouth.....likely to earn man u a lot of enemies.

haha, MU got a lot of enemies already, he can't add anymore la..
one thing I agree, his style, very mechanical, and always countering. if he comes, may erode MU's style of quick passing, counter attacking.
SAF has a lot of enemies too.
i find him xia lan also.
like SAF, mourinho has the pedigree to be stuck up.

true la, most of the top managers got a bigger than life ego, and they are at the forefront of their clubs.. so expected.
i want rafa the bastard pls....
One things for sure though, he's the next best manager to Fergie in handling mind games.
I wouldn't mind MON (I'm not a fan of Moyes)...but its still not proven that they won't crumble like a house of cards?
why not giggs or ole gunnar sokjaer be the manager?
Ah Ben have enough fun with american owners.
Unless he is sacked by Liverpool, I dun think Ah Ben would resign from Liverpool.
He is more suited for RM as he is from the RM system.
BPL is too tough for Ah Ben to win.
As for Alex replacement, Capello is the best choice.
