Back in business: Rooney should be fit to face AC Milan on Wednesday
Wayne Rooney did train yesterday despite his knee injury and is hopeful of being passed fit to face Milan on Wednesday after sitting out the 1-0 victory at Wolves.
Man in the middle: Massimo Busacca urinated on the pitch in the middle of a match in Qatar?
Tomorrow's referee Massimo Busacca, 41, is well known to Manchester United, having taken charge of last season's Champions League final in Rome when they were outclassed by Barcelona.
A year before, United manager Sir Alex Ferguson laid into the Swiss official for failing to award a penalty in the semI-final against Barcelona that 'the world and his wife' would have given.
Busacca has suffered an eventful few months since last coming face to face with United.
He was suspended for three matches in September after showing the middle finger to Young Boys Bern fans and later faced bizarre claims that he urinated on the pitch in the middle of a match in Qatar.
Fingers crossed: Paul Scholes and co will hope Busacca is more generous to United than in their Cham[ions League semi-final with Barcelona in 2008
man u need atleast goalless draw, draw,or 1 goal down to win...pray2 hard man utd fans
Man Utd sure win la. See AC Milan play so lousy. Outclassed by Man Utd. Now 1-0 AC Milan need to score 3 goals to go through which is near impossible
haha AC milan GK hopeless goal kick and clearance is kick straight out. dont know if got attend training lessons or not
Rooney scored a header again after a nice cross from neville. I was surprised that neville started the match.
Rooney scored so soon at the start of the second half, after good work done on the left by Nani. it was Nani's pass that led to Rooney scoring his second goal.
where is BD... sianz why he havent come on yet?
like that sure game over already right???
3-0 liao lar. Park scored
4-0 lo.... 7-2 in total... go sleep lo...
AC Milan kena trashed. yet there were ppl saying would be exciting match and wtf nonsense.
AC Milan completely clueless as to how to penetrate MU defense.
Real Madrid also got booted out lol. Ronaldo made a mistake going over to a lousy club. RM also is less likely to win their league cup compared to Barca.

real are now at the top of the spanish league.
you never know.
i hope barca can retain the la liga title.

Milan's defence didn't have an answer to Manchester United's attacks!
Their GK was a second string one, but you've got to say that their defence was horrible! Great to see Park and Fletcher on the scoresheet! I was hopping to play Real Madrid next, but Lyon knocked them out!

Coz most of the players reach 30+ already, Kaka had left Milan already yet he can't inspire current club R Madrid to proceed quarter-finals for 6th concentive year.

same too :(
Sadly for the past 6 years, Real Madrid just cannot pass through last 16 and proceed to quarter-finals. I have nothing to comment for the past 5 editions as R Madrid need to finish 2nd leg at away from there. But this time round, they finally finished 2nd leg at home. Yet, they tarnished the chance. They had many chances to overturn the derelict, but did not and let the Lyon player to score a crucial equiliser aka away goal. Once Lyon did that, R Madrid need 2 more goals to qualify which was quite impossible for last 15 minutes unless Lyon's defence was shattered.
This shows that Lyon has quality to fight against strongest team like Man U, R Madrid etc......
What a shame for a star-studded team with C Ronaldo and Kaka.

Man U currently has many youngster midfielders like: Valencia and Fletcher to finish the setpiece match (ease burden of Rooney)
Furthermore, Man U had advtange to avenge against Milan since they would finish the 2nd leg at home.
man utd wins euro cup and ronaldo curses his balls out for missing out on some bit of grand history.

huh? I thought Saint Petersburg won Euro Super Cup by 2-1. Hope Man U can win Super Cup if they manage to lift up UCL this season.
hmm lemme guess...you could be born near 1990. lol.....we used to refer to the UCL as the european cup.
What a win, jus shows we dont need Ronaldo. Ronaldo should have realized he was leaving the european capital of trophies.
And now we have Nani, the pass he played for rooney's goal shows the talent he has, jus needs to bring it on a consistent basis.
