dunno why berbatov was sub for? thought he did well. chelsea must be glee with delight with this result, knowing that if they beat hull, they will go 4 points clear of united. but all is not lost, as chelsea still need to travel to united and liverpool still. united need to beat chelsea at home, and then hope liverpool beat chelsea at home.

The subs Fergie made couldn't even make any impact. I can't recall Owen touching the ball at all!

Evans and Brown are two very similar players. They need to pair up with Rio to perform well since he is the brains behind the defence. Our midfield was over-run today since we were outnumbered. We still looked dangerous though. I felt that the biggest mistake was taking out park for obertan. Obertan cannot cross, pass or control a ball. He is too young. After park left, United was playing with 10 man hiaz

agree with you on owen. he lack the physical height to even trouble the defenders, since he has lost his pace long ago. his asset was his pace previously. dunno why Valencia and berbatov was sub, do you?

I think BBT was nursing an injury? Sad, one of the few matches where i thought he was playing well, he got subbed.
No idea why Valencia was subbed tho. Thought he would have subbed Carrick. Carrick was soooooo quiet.

I am worried for Rooney. he has been playing non stop in the league cup, CL and league. I am wondering if fergie will play Rooney in the league cup finals against villa?
with this defeat, I wonder if fergie will sacrifise the league cup to concentrate in the CL and league? I am not surprised if he decide to play the reserves like diouf, Pig, fabio, rafael, owen and obertan.

Berbatov was taken out because he got a knock.
Why was Park taken out ? If he was replaced by Giggs or Nani (both out), I understand. But why replace him with the worst player on the pitch ? Obertan isn't ready yet.

Without Rooney, we are super ordinary up front. Berbatov needs a partner like Robbie Keane or Rooney to play well. He can't play alone. Owen is a joke. Diouf and Welbeck isn't ready yet.

wellbeck is loaned out now, so he cant play for united. diouf is still young and he will only be a back up striker in future, never the main striker. Owen has lacked his pace, not to mention he lack the physical presence. better let him go once his contract has ended. I am sure other mid club like sunderland will be interested in acquiring his services.
this season our regular 2 centre back are out injured for so long, no consistency whatsoever in our defence at all.

so what if united win the league cup. what has the league cup become for big clubs? mickey mouse cup? the big club couldnt care less winning the fa cup already, much less the mickey mouse league cup?
