Foster: Could leave Manchester United for Tottenham
Tottenham are trying to sign Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster after Asmir Begovic mysteriously went missing on the verge of joining the club, and looks set for a move to Stoke instead.
Begovic was poised to join the Londoners from Portsmouth after the Premier League strugglers agreed to sell him and defender Younes Kaboul.
But the 22-year-old went missing in the early hours of Saturday morning from the Marriott Waltham Abbey hotel, where Spurs had put him up.
And after Tottenham's clash with Birmingham, Redknapp suggested that Stoke had stepped in to persuade the keeper that he would have more chance of playing regular football with the Potters.
Tottenham will now make their move for Foster, according to the News of the World.

Foster was being tipped as England's next keeper, but a series of unconvincing performances this season has seen his manager Sir Alex Ferguson lose faith in the 26-year-old.
United believe Foster is worth £5million, but Spurs are concerned over his record of injury problems.
Yup, Foster is worth it, just sign him Harry!
