MANCHESTER UNITED have signed a £5million five-year sponsorship deal with a Nigeria mobile phone company.
But the £1m-a-year Globacom contract is a drop in the ocean compared to the club's huge debts and interest payments.
The squad are currently in Qatar, One frustrated figure in Qatar is Darren Fletcher, who misses Saturday's home game with Burnley after being sent off for two bookable offences in the draw at Birmingham.
Fletcher said: "It was disappointing because I was constantly being fouled.
"When I said something the ref said 'it's a man's game'. So I went in hard and he books me! Then he booked me again for nothing really."
