revenge against the 1-0 defeat earlier. that match should have been a draw if not for carrick's pk miss, damn.
Due to the winter conditions in England, United flew to Doha yesterday for training and will only return on Thursday to prepare for their match on Sat against Burnley.
why not come to Spore for training lol.
I am betting that Manchester United will win 3goals against Burnley 0 goals.
dun be so cocksure. scally united draw at OT.
Back in the frame: United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar trained in Doha
Edwin van der Sar could make his Manchester United comeback against Burnley on Saturday. The veteran Dutchman has not played for the Red Devils since mid-November when he injured a knee against Everton. Since then, his wife Annemarie suffered a stroke just before Christmas.
However, she has now recovered and, after spending this week in Qatar with his team-mates during the warm weather training camp, the 39-year-old is in contention to face Burnley at Old Trafford.
'Edwin has come back to training and has done very well,' said manager Sir Alex Ferguson. 'He has been out for a few weeks and it is great to see him back. He will give us so much experience when he eventually does come back, which is important to us.'
Ferguson will have a chat with Van der Sar before deciding on his line-up for tomorrow's game. However, it seems inevitable given United's struggles at the back recently that the former Holland skipper will be recalled in favour of Tomasz Kuszczak.
'It depends how Edwin feels but he has been training very well,' said the Red Devils chief. Ferguson also confirmed long-term absentees Rio Ferdinand and Owen Hargreaves continued to make progress in Qatar last week. 'They both took part in some work and Rio in particular is not too far away now,' he said.
Meanwhile, record signing Dimitar Berbatov is resisting having an exploratory operation on a lingering knee problem, with Ferguson hoping surgery can be delayed until the end of the season.
'Dimitar doesn't want an operation,' said Ferguson. 'Sometimes he feels the injury, other times he doesn't. It might have been the warmer climes but he didn't feel it at all in Qatar last week. 'We are just keeping an eye on it at present.'
Man Utd: Van der Sar, Neville, Brown, Jonny Evans, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Scholes, Nani, Berbatov, Rooney.
Subs: Kuszczak, Owen, Anderson, Park, Fabio Da Silva, Rafael Da Silva, Diouf.
Burnley: Jensen, Mears, Edgar, Duff, Jordan, Alexander, McDonald, Eagles, Elliott, Nugent, Steven Fletcher.
Subs: Penny, Kalvenes, Gudjonsson, Eckersley, Blake, Thompson, Guerrero.
Referee: Lee Probert (Wiltshire)
Good, good... Berba is playing today...
surprised to see Nani playing on the left side lol.
wtf burnley nearly scored. this game is not man united there for the taking, thats for sure.
why man united is playing long balls? back to the 80s is it, when all long balls are hoofed to the striker to chase the ball zzzzzzzzz.
united should learn from barcelona the correct way of playing ie playing passing and short passing instead of long balls to the strikers. xavi and iniesta controlling the midfield, awesome, with messi running the show.

3-0? cant even see united scoring 1 at the moment, let alone 3.
looks like united need to do the job in the second half.
booooooring!
berbatov magic. his touch was superd and so was his link up play with others.
united has become very one dimensional these days, the attacking all come from valencia on the right side.
Yay... Berba... Berba... Berbatov...
rooney scored, 2-0.
if burnley scored when they have the chances when 0-0, not sure how the match would have progress. burnley have two clear cut chances to score, but they didnt took it. now they paid the price for missing them earlier.
frankly speaking, I dunno why rafael wasnt playing and instead it was gary neville?
lol i spy a DIOUF and a GOAL
is Diouf the new supersub from Norway lol
This Diouf looks like a good young player... He seems like very fast...

Rafael is being kept for City on Wed... All the young boys are part of that team. Fabio, Gibson, Anderson, Evans...
united is one dimensional nowadays. the threat coming from rooney, berbatov and valencia. take out one of these players, and you dunno where the creativity and goals are coming from.
ferdinand and vidic absence does not help, as the back four are always changing due to injuries.
Imo, the midfield has to start putting their weight up front and support the strikers by contributing with some of the goals.
Miss the days when any player could step up and score for Utd.
