Giggs's wonder goal against Arsenal in the 1999 FA Cup still haunts Wenger to this day.
Giggs has been crowned BBC Sports Personality of the Year and recently agreed a one-year extension to his contract at Old Trafford.
At 36 years of age, the Welshman is still going strong and is one of the most decorated players of his generation. He has won 11 Premier League titles with Manchester United, four FA Cups, three League Cups, lifted two Champions League trophies, the Uefa Super Cup, the Intercontinental Cup and the Fifa Club World Cup.
His list of achievements goes on and on. He is the only United player to have played in all 11 Premier League-winning teams, he is the only United player to have scored in 11 consecutive Champions League tournaments, he is the only player to have scored in every Premier League campaign since its inception and he is only the second midfielder to have scored 100 goals in the Premier League for a single club - the first being Matt Le Tissier.
Giggs also made it into Telegraph Sport Football Correspondent Henry Winter's Premier League team of the decade.
Giggs is also famous for 'that goal' in the 1999 FA Cup semi-final replay against Arsenal, a memory that still haunts Wenger to this day.
The Frenchman said: "Ryan Giggs is my Premier League player of the decade because he combined style with winning. But his goal in the 1999 semi-final still hurts me."
wah see the video also make my hair stand. never say die spirit.
And this was against Arsenal's 'fame' best defence somemore led by Tony Adams...
And it came after the full 90 mins, towards the 120 mins and he can still run like that... Phew... beat 5 defenders and 1 goalkeeper... One moment that define his career... simply amazing...
