Premier League Game 15
WEST HAM
West Ham will be without England pair Carlton Cole and Matthew Upson for their home match against Manchester United at Upton Park.
Striker Cole is set to be out until the end of January with a knee ligament injury sustained in the Hammers' 5-3 win against Burnley last weekend, while centre-back Upson has not fully recovered from a hamstring strain.
Switzerland midfielder Valon Behrami is missing with a knee injury while a muscle strain sidelines Luis Jimenez.
Alessandro Diamanti is back from a hip complaint and is in contention.
Squad: Green, Kurucz, Faubert, Da Costa, Gabbidon, Daprela, Tomkins,
Ilunga, Spector, Kovac, Noble, Parker, Collison, Payne, Diamanti, Dyer,
Hines, Stanislas, Franco
Edwin van der Sar is set to return to the Manchester United line-up for the trip to West Ham.
The veteran Dutchman has missed three games since injuring his knee in a collision with Everton's Tim Cahill at Old Trafford a fortnight ago but has now recovered and is expected to replace Tomasz Kuszczak.
Jonny Evans (calf) and John O'Shea (dead leg) are still sidelined, along with long-term casualties Rio Ferdinand (back) and Owen Hargreaves (knee).
Squad: Van der Sar, Foster, Kuszczak, Neville, O'Shea, Brown, Vidic, Evans, Evra, Rafael, Valencia, Anderson, Fletcher, Scholes, Carrick, Giggs, Nani, Berbatov, Rooney, Owen, Macheda, Welbeck.
WH always a tricky match for United... Its like they and Boro are United's hoodoo opponents kind of thing... Lets hope it won't happen again and United get all 3 points tonight.
man united needed to win and get 3 points tonight. hope city can do united a favour by at least drawing or beat chelsea tonight. fingers crossed.
I am worried for united defence as its a makeshift defence, with fletcher playing at RB and neville as CB. whatever happened to vidic and evans, injuries I suppose.
wah scholes and giggs playing. hope they have the legs to last the distance. gibson is rewarded for his good performances in midweek.
west ham nearly scored cos of ryan giggs bad pass. luckily no west ham player is across to tap in the ball. heng sia what a lucky escape

loll
scholes can really shut critics mouth now for a few matches at least... like rooney9's..
west ham totally destroyed.
hmmm.. still got time for 3 more??
and kuszczak with a failed backflip
we have no more centrebacks left. all injured.
Wah... This 3 points very worth it man... I thought it would be a draw match or United could even lose watching the first half and most of their defenders out... A good win today...
3 points with all the centrebacks out...definitely a good win but i not sure if its really worth it man...
Definitely worth it... The defenders injured isn't because of this match apart from Neville... But the 3 points is definitely worth it... drawing the match would see them fall behind Chelsea by 7...
granted. but brown is out also

Brown out? Since when?
But wah... That Gibson with another thunder bolt of a shot...
Gibson is Schole 2.0
Neville and Brown should be cleared after the match, probably just need rest. I thought Fletcher and Carrick did pretty well today holding the line.

first time, i see MU's got so many MFs in one game. it is quite amazing.
MU is in deep trouble if the injuries continue to pile up.
btw, Carrick seems quite good @ the CD role..

Ohhh... that one ah. I don't think anything really serious about that until he cannot play next match kind lah... Neville on the other hand, may be out for a while though...
Personally, I am quite surprise how the team can still go on winning... United don't have many star players that can change games after Ronaldo gone... We see Pool dropping points, City dropping points and Gunners also... United are currently playing with quite a number of average players and yet can still get results... I think a lot is down to Fergie and his demands and expections from his players... Other than this, I really don't see their squad any better than City's, Chelsea's and even Gunners and maybe even Pool...
