EVANS ... 'disheartening' decisions
Manchester United boss Fergie was hit with a £20,000 fine and a two-game touchline ban on Thursday for his rant over Alan Wiley's lack of fitness.
Ferguson also claimed his players are "losing faith in referees" after last week's 1-0 defeat at Chelsea.
And defender Evans insists United's players DO feel they have to beat the ref as well as their opponents.
He said: "We're normally good with referees.
"You get a lot of teams who use play acting - but not many of us roll around and try to cheat.
"The 50-50 decisions from that have not gone our way lately and that has been a bit disheartening for a few of the lads.
"Sometimes you have to beat the referee as well - and that is what we have to do."
