ID TEST ... Fabio da Silva (left) and twin brother Rafael
On Tuesday, the Manchester United chief admitted Chris Foy was correct to show Gary Neville a red card in the Carling Cup win at Barnsley.
But it has also emerged the Merseyside official dropped a clanger in booking Brazilian full-back Fabio da Silva instead of his twin brother Rafael.
The United duo were both involved in an 83rd-minute challenge on Barnsley's Jamal Campbell-Ryce.
And Foy brandished the yellow card at Fabio, when it was his brother who committed the offence.
United have now contacted the FA to point out the case of mistaken identity, saving Fabio - sent off in the third-round win over Wolves - from another caution.
