Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar is set to return from injury in Tuesday night's reserves match away to Everton.
Van der Sar, 38, has missed the start of United's Barclays Premier League campaign after breaking two bones in his left hand in a match against Bayern Munich during the Audi Cup.
Ben Foster has deputised for the Dutchman in United's Premier League fixtures, but it was confirmed on www.manutd.com this lunchtime that Van der Sar will start tonight's match at the Stobart Stadium in Widnes.
