Torres: I'd never join Man Utd

  FERNANDO TORRES insists he would never join Manchester United out of respect for the Liverpool fans.

  Although the Premier League's top scorer is only 25, the Spanish hitman admits he is already thinking about staying at Anfield for life.

  Asked about the chances of playing for United, Torres said: "I can understand the feelings between Man United and Liverpool.

  "I'm a foreign player, but I know how the Liverpool fans feel and I remember the welcome I had when I arrived - it was just amazing.

  "I hope to play a lot of years or maybe even finish my career here. I don't know, but Liverpool is my English team and I don't think about playing for another one."

  yes I am sure. if he does leave liverpool, he will go back to spain. spanish players are homesick and dun like the weather there

  liverpool have many loyal players

  owen is still a hero in many liverpool fans heart

  most of us know that he force to join MU cause liverpool dont wan to take him back.

  we all understand the position that he is in

  if liverpool and MU wan him at the same time

  im sure owen will choose liverpool as his 1st choice

  I do expect him not to celebrate if he scores at Antfield out of respect.

  he joined MU to try to jumpstart his English career, but at the moment, not too happening for him.
