Manchester United have revealed they will play a second match against a Malaysia XI in Kuala Lumpur on Monday.
The terrorist attack in Jakarta on Friday forced United to postpone a planned trip to Indonesia and, although efforts were made to relocate that fixture, ultimately it has proved impossible.
United ruled out a posible trip to Australia to play a game, but they reorganised another fixture against the opponents they defeated 3-2 on Saturday.
United chief executive David Gill confirmed a request had been made by the Indonesian government for United to fulfil Monday's fixture despite the bomb blasts that killed eight people and left at least 50 injured but this was rejected.
"The presidential office made a plea for us to go but, after discussions with the tour organisers and the Foreign Office, we decided it was not appropriate," said Gill.
"We had to make a decision very quickly and it wasn't easy but we feel this was the right one.
"We have a lot of talented footballers at Manchester United and we have to make sure they are safe, but that goes for everyone associated with the club.
"These situations are not easy but I am sure people will understand and one day we hope to go back."
LOL! hopefully can trash them this time

i really hope Man U can beat them 3-0 instead of 3-2..
I wonder how the tickets for this match are gonna be sorted.
But i read that 3000 will be allocated to those who purchased tix for the Indonesia game to exchange.
Police have detained a Malaysian woman who allegedly stabbed her husband in the chest for coming home late after watching the pre-season friendly between Manchester United and Malaysia.
The man had promised to come back immediately after the match in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday evening, but his wife was "very angry" when he returned after midnight, the district police chief Abdul Jalil Hassan said.
The woman stabbed him twice in the chest with a kitchen knife and then took him to a hospital, where a doctor reported the incident to police, Abdul Jalil added. "He was with friends after the match, so that's why he came home late."
The man was recovering in hospital and police have not decided whether to charge the woman with any offence.
The Premier League champions defeated Malaysia 3–2 on Saturday in the opening match of their Asian tour.
