Ashley YoungOld Trafford's revolving door hasn't gone into an uncontrollable spin during the summer transfer window with only Michael Owen and Antonio Valencia moving into Fergie's squad.
But Aston Villa's 23-year-old left winger Ashley Young is now being linked with a move to the champions. Young won the PFA Young Player of the Year last season and would fit neatly into Fergie's buying plans and age structure. But with Valencia, Ji-sung Park and Nani able to play on the left a move for the Villa star would overload that department.
However, Nani is already expressing concerns that he might be on the periphery again in the coming season. The 2007 buy from Sporting Lisbon could find himself surplus to requirements. -

Ashley Young has the potential I tell ya. He might not be as flamboyant, talent wise and skills of ronaldo, anyway who does.
From what I have seen of him, he has improved leaps and bounds since he joined villa from watford. if he were to come, fergie would surely improve him and he may the speed demon at left wing.

Well, Nani has been very inconsistent. So not surprised to see him go if young was to come.

why no news on signing young? this player has potential to go far, especially if he joins Man Utd. fergie will make him improve significantly under him.
the other wingers I liked is aaron lennon and gabriel agbonlahor. both are speed demons on the wing.
