Given how Man Utd misses his running and tackling in the defeat against Barcelona, I hope he will play in utd's midfield as a regular, not as squad player this season.
At 25, he can finally step up his plate and an enforcer in utd midfielder. If Owen Hargreaves is still injury prone or is forced to retire early, fret not as fletcher is a ready made replacement.
Anderson is the direct replacement for Scholes. if Michael Carrick is injured or loss of form, Anderson can partner Fletcher in the midfield.
Fletcher has always been underrated like Park. To me he is a good player no doubt, his versatility is a plus as well.
actually, quite puzzling why SAF tends to rotating him. is his physical suspect or something??
I really hope anderson can step up, same as nani given the weight is now more fairly distributed.

mabe he feels he is not ready to dislodge carrick or anderson or scholes in midfield.
but make no mistake about it, he is ready to take over from owen hargreaves long term, starting from this season. he has come a long way since he made his debut in 2003?
I think Fletcher is more suitable in the winger roles. More of a RM rather than center. Whereas Anderson will be taking over scholes when he retires. IMO
Park, Nani, Fletcher, Anderson, Carrick, Hagreaves, Tosic, Valencia
These players have gotten their fair share of games over the years, its time for them to play more as Giggs and Scholes play lesser..
As for forwards we have Berbatov, Tevez and Macheda. One more striker and we should be done.
Sure in comparison to squads like City, our players may not match one to one basis but I still believe, our footballing style and the training should put us one up over them.

From wiki, it says he play either striker or winger. But i think SAF will train him to be a striker.

Lol mayb will have another argentine, KUN~~
I'm really hoping Anderson steps up his game. He's still a long way from replacing Scholes imo.

He sure will de, unlike Nani who has been so inconsistent.
