well, it seems we are near July, and almost the transfer list that MUFC drawn up is in Spain. and worse, we lost R & T.
last time MU lost #7, 3 yrs without titles. And going by what's happening, it seems MU to be on thin ice this season..
Just wondering, wasn't SAF holidaying @ south france, why the hell can't he make a trip to Lyon to sign benezema? unless, that wasn't the target at all.. just puzzled at the lack of urgency. and RM is smart to sign Kaka first than Ronaldo so MU got $$ but no where to burn.
Just a suggestion, before MU sign any youths, include a clause that if they move to Spain, automatically add 100M on top of their transfer fees.

i expect RM to sign Ribery, and maybe Gerrard, and then Messi before the spanish banks can close their vaults..

benzema isn't keen on man utd to begin with so its fine he went to real. the way things are goin at the moment... i m not expecting anything big next season.
unlikely we would sign another winger... but we need a new goal scorer thats for sure. after relying on ronaldo for 2 seasons.. i fear we would struggle to score.
rooney needs to take over... maybe kiko also... but it seems we dont have many midfielders who can do it. luis fabiano could be the answer.. or we could gamble on marcus berg.

Gerrard? No way! He's priceless, will cost more than 80 million. He's better than Ronaldo, so dont even think of touching him RM. After spending crazy sums of $$ on Ronaldo and Kaka, they are thinking of signing even more world class players? Thats bollocks. Where do you read that from? -

Man United just KO themselves: losing ronaldo and tevez at the same time and worst still, no able replacement for them.
Tevez wanted to stay but he was not offered the deal earlier as he would have liked. He will go Man City.
I think currently only Ribery is a possible target, but even he might end up at Madrid.
I guess Man Utd wont be able to defend their EPL title.

i dunno about Antonio Valencia seriously...i really hope he can adapt to Man Utd's style esp with Carrick/Schole's style of passing and the intuition to gel with Rooney or whoever upfront...Last season, i really hoped Samir Nasri went to Man Utd...now i hope they sign Edison Cavani..only 21 years old but a damn good striker...Mario Ballotelli also very good..saw him play against man utd in the UCL..but i doubt Mourinho wanna sell him la..

the last statement is a worrying one, and I fear Mancity may even slip into top 4, displacing MUFC. Chelsea is a big ? with a new manager, the only stable team is Gunners. Liverpool may lose big names soon too.

nah, pass on MarioB, his temper is horrible. well, Valencia will never take over Ronaldo's place. So it is a big transition. How about the Pato guy Chelsea is eyeing?

But I read somewhere else about his crossing %, it was in the 80% region. I guess its quite good la, Utd haven't got a decent crosser of the ball since Becks left.

i think end of day, SAF won't buy any more, just let it sit..
the inflated price and everyone seems to fight to join the RM train is enough to put any transfers off.

ya, point taken, just that there isn't a "Ronaldo" who can thump in that 10-20 goals anymore so it is a big strain on everyone to share that load.
