Two of the big spenders in the Premier League are set to fight for the Montenegro frontman
Roma striker Mirko Vucinic is set to be at the centre of a Premier League tug-of-war.
Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are both set to declare their interest in the Montenegro striker.
The cash-strapped Italian side are willing to listen to offers for Vucinic and former Real Madrid and Arsenal striker Julio Baptista.
Spurs seem to have stolen a march on their Mancunian rivals as The Daily Mail reports the London club are ready to launch significant cash-plus-player offer.
Reports suggest Tottenham are ready to offer £17 million plus Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko in a deal worth a lot more than United had hoped to pay.
The deal will tempt Roma who have declared their interest in signing Pavlyuchenko, who seems destined to leave White Hart Lane this summer.
However, uncertainties over takeover talks mean the future of the club is unclear and any transfers in or out are currently on hold. -
