globally. The deal also enables aigo to produce and distribute
co-branded mobile phone handsets in China.
As part of the
agreement, aigo will become the official title sponsor of United’s game
in Hangzhou, China, during the Reds' Asia Tour in July.
United
chief executive David Gill welcomed the deal, saying: "This deal is a
further demonstration of the global appeal of Manchester United. Aigo
is a leader in its field and we are very excited about the
possibilities that this partnership opens up. The tour match will offer
our fans in China their first chance to see the partnership in action."
