Agent Emil Dantchev has insisted there is no prospect of Dimitar Berbatov leaving Manchester United this summer.
Some speculative reports have suggested Sir Alex Ferguson might cash in on his big-money signing from Tottenham after the Bulgarian failed to hit the heights in his first season at Old Trafford.
Nevertheless, Berbatov is certain to be allowed more time to bed in at United and show the sort of form that prompted Ferguson to sign him from Spurs last September.
The classy striker missed a late chance in the Champions League final defeat to Barcelona and was left on the bench for some of the biggest games of the campaign as the season drew to a close.
"Despite speculation that he may leave, I want to declare that Dimitar will play next season in Manchester United," Dantchev told Dnevnik.
"There is no desire from the management for any separation.
"He will stay and we hope that he will win what he missed out on this year.
