INJURY WOE ... Wes Brown
ALEX FERGUSON admits Wes Brown will not play again for Manchester United this season. Brown, 29, has managed just two substitute appearances since last October after picking up a foot injury.
He appeared to be on course for a first-team return against Middlesbrough last week but was ruled out after suffering a minor setback. And Ferguson has now effectively written the defender out of his plans until next term.
The United boss said: "Brown had a little setback during the week. "It is not major but the fact the season is coming to an end makes it difficult for him. "It is disappointing for him."

Gone case already, has been very good when Neville was away 2 seasons ago... but with Rafael now... no place for this old chap... loyal MU player. Salute.

I will prefer Wes Brown anytime over Rafael and Neville.
Rafael - too small in size, too attack minded, prone to high balls.
Neville - past his prime, lack pace, prone to high balls.
Brown - has the height, defensive and attack well balanced, not so prone to high balls compared to the other two.
But it remains to be seen whether Brown will still be as good as I would like him to be.
