Rooney keen to end career at United

  Wayne Rooney has expressed his desire to end his career at Manchester United amid reports he is set to be offered a bumper new five-year deal. The 23-year-old moved to Old Trafford for £26million in 2004 and still has three years remaining on his contract, but a new £30million, five-year deal is reportedly being lined up. Rooney has had no negotations with the club to date, but the England superstar will have no hesitation in putting pen to paper once an offer is on the table. He is quoted in The Sunday Telegraph as saying: "I am happy here and I'd sign a new contract at any time. "I want to stay at this club for the rest of my career. I will sign an extension any time the club wants me to."
