Manchester United have six players in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year but there is no place for England striker Wayne Rooney.
Welshman Ryan Giggs, voted the player of the year by his fellow professional at the annual awards announced tonight, is among the United stars in the team.
Rooney's England team-mate Rio Ferdinand makes the team along with fellow United players Giggs, Edwin van der Sar, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra and Cristiano Ronaldo.
United's dominance of the team is a reflection of their season as they bid to retain both the Premier League and Champions League titles.
But of the two other English clubs still involved in the Champions League semi-finals later this week only one player is represented in the PFA team.
Arsenal, who face United over two legs for a place in the Champions League final in Roma, have no players in the PFA team.
Chelsea, who face Barcelona on Tuesday, have striker Nicolas Anelka in the PFA line-up.
Liverpool, who are clinging on to hopes of pipping United to the Premier League title, have two members of the line-up.
England midfielder Steven Gerrard and Spain's Fernando Torres, regarded by many as the top striker in world football, are both included.
Glen Johnson's reward for standing out in a difficult season for struggling Portsmouth sees him voted in.
The PFA team is completed by Aston Villa's Ashley Young who has also picked up the young player of the year award.
