Ryan Giggs extended his all-time Manchester United appearance record to 800 matches when he came on as a substitute in the Champions League semi-final against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
The Welsh midfielder's latest landmark came 11 months after he broke Bobby Charlton's club appearance record of 758 matches when he made his 759th appearance in the Champions League final against Chelsea in Moscow last May. -

1-0 win is a slender lead, but the real cost is the broken ribs of rio ferdinand. if he has broken ribs, he may be out for the season and that is bad bad news for man utd. Evans could replace rio, but he is not the same class as rio. Just look at the few matches rio was absent just a few weeks back. I hope rio is alright, fingers crossed.
