Paul Scholes has more experience than most of FA Cup semi-finals and he's determined to help United into a 19th final by beating Everton on Sunday.
Following Wednesday's draining Champions League win over Porto, Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed he will freshen up his side for the Wembley encounter.
United haven't lost at this stage in the competition since 1970 and the man who scored the last-four winner against Arsenal five years ago says the Reds are in no mood to relinquish that enviable record, whatever team takes to the field.
The midfielder told ManUtd.com: "We don’t like to lose semi-finals and we’ve a chance of getting to Wembley again, and it would be a major thrill to be there at the end of the season. We just hope we have that feeling.
"OK, it’ll be a tough game against Everton - they’re a good team with good players - but we’re hopeful we can win it."
While United are juggling three competitions at the moment, victory on Sunday would allow the team to put the cup aside for a few weeks to focus on league and European matters.
"That’s exactly it," Scholes added. "We hope we can play well on Sunday, win the game and then that can go on the backburner until the end of the season, as something to look forward to."
