Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has soothed fears over midfielder Owen Hargreaves' long-term fitness.
Hargreaves is currently undergoing his rehabilitation after surgery on both of his knees to fix a long-standing problem.
The England international originally had an operation last autumn after making just three appearances for United during the early weeks of the season.
He subsequently underwent a second bout of surgery in January and is now back at United's Carrington training ground to continue his recovery.
However, there have been reports that the most recent operation has not been a complete success and it had placed a question mark over Hargreaves being fit for the start of the next campaign.
Ferguson has moved to quash the rumours and believes the 28-year-old is on course to be back in the Premier League leaders' plans over the summer.
The United chief said in the Daily Mail: "His operations have gone perfectly well, he's feeling good."
