Luring Nemanja Vidic away from Manchester United will be impossible, according to his agent.
Inter and Milan are believed to be chasing Serbian centre back Vidic, but his representative has stated that the Italian clubs are not rich enough to secure his signature.
Despite his lacklustre performance against Liverpool, the 27-year-old is a genuine contender to be voted PFA player of the season.
Vidic is happy at Old Trafford and is not looking to embark on another challenge according to Silvano Martina, who has revealed that Inter and Fiorentina tried to secure his signature in the past.
Martina told Calcio Mercato: “He plays for Manchester United and is not on the market. He is an unquestionable starter for The Red Devils.
“There’s no way an Italian club could sign him. They don’t have the means, and he is happy at Manchester.
“He is European and world champion, as a consequence, moving away could only be a step backward.
“Twice he was close to moving to Italy, once to Fiorentina and then to Inter.”
