Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has hinted that Cristiano Ronaldo will join the club next season.
Calderon, who was forced into giving his notice of resignation after it was proved that he cheated during the presidencial vote, is nevertheless happy with his time at the Santiago Bernabeu club.
And he has promised Los Merengues fans that their club will be signing one of the finest players in the world at the end of the current season.
Ronaldo was Calderon’s priority during his time in charge, and he has hinted that Madrid will secure the signing of a ‘superstar’ thanks to his hard work.
Calderon told Cadena SER: “I think that my work for Real Madrid proved good.
“We won six titles and thanks to my work, one of the best players in the world will join the club at the end of the season.
“Besides, I doubled the revenues.
“Last summer wasn’t the suitable moment to sign the superstar, but Real Madrid do attract those players because they have the money to match their demands.”
The ex-president was then asked if he spoke with Milan star Kaka’s family at an airport, and he said: “I don’t want to create wrong expectations; anyway, what is needed is that the upcoming president will bring the best players in the world.”

1) Balon D'or
2) FIFA World Player of the Year
3) PFA Player of the Year
4) European Player of the Year
5) European Golden Boot
6) European Striker of the Year
And the list goes on... still overated? Those awards should shut your mouth.
