Fulham VS Manchester United
prepare to be made into smoked ham..
Roy Hodgson has warned Liverpool and Chelsea not to expect too many favours from his Fulham side when they face Manchester United this weekend.
New life has been breathed into the Premier League title race following the latest round of games, with United's lead at the top cut to four points after their 4-1 home defeat by the Reds.
The Red Devils still have a game in hand on their rivals, but the battle for top-flight supremacy could still go down to the wire.
Fulham are next to find themselves in United's firing line, with the leaders due at Craven Cottage on Saturday, but Hodgson is far from confident about his side's ability to put another dent in Sir Alex Ferguson's title charge.
"Listen, we have to work very hard to win our games," said Hodgson, whose side currently sit ninth.
"I can't stand here and say at the moment that our team is on a par with Manchester United because everyone knows it isn't but we'll give it our best shot.
"We'll work very hard, but the Liverpools and the Chelseas who are chasing Manchester United can't really expect that much of Fulham and think we'll beat Manchester United for them.
"Those teams chasing must be realistic.
"The lead is still four points and Manchester United have a game in hand, which could stretch the lead to seven points, and seven points is a massive gap. I think everyone will realise the chance is slim."
Haha, 11pm? Its gona be showed at 10 here in Oz, kewl I won't have to force myself to sleep later hehe!
This match is very important as we can see Rafa, Guus, Wenger and former Pool player Phil Thompson all want to put pressure and plant doubts on the United players minds...
So a good win here and last week's lost would all be forgotten... And it could get better if Pool don't pick up 3 points against Villa, or Chelsea against Spurs... But even if Pool and Chelsea do win, a win here will get everything back on track still...
United must steel themselves for another Saturday lunchtime kick-off. Their next Premier League home match with Aston Villa was to be screened by Sky on Sunday April 5 but will be moved forward a day because United will be involved in the Champions League quarter-finals on either the Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week.
Ferguson was unhappy that the Liverpool game kicked off at 12.45pm on Saturday following their win against Inter Milan the previous Wednesday. Liverpool beat Real Madrid a day earlier. And the Villa game will follow a round of midweek World Cup qualifiers, with United players on international duty all around the world.
i think he'll use the same line up as that one against pool.
except evans of course.
he will sub out tevez.
Yes, Tevez was very poor against Pool... Fletcher will return for Anderson and Berbatov for Tevez.... And who knows, maybe Nani might even take over from Park too...
I hope Park stays in the 1st team line up, hes really shown himself lately.
BENCH NANI!
Park don't get you goals... Thats the problem in his game... Nani still give you a better chance of a goal... Thats why Fergie drop him from last season's CL final... This was the reason he mentioned...
Anyway, Bring back the Berbatov / Rooney combo... Tevez not working liao...
