Ole Gunnar Solskjaer turns down job offer from native Norway to stay with Manchester United reserves
Staying put: Solskjaer has rejected the Norway job
Former Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has turned down the chance to manage Norway.
Solskjaer revealed tthat he was asked to succeed Aage Hareide, who resigned after eight matches without a win.
But Solskjaer chose to remain on Sir Alex Ferguson's coaching staff at Old Trafford, where he is currently the reserve team manager.
He said: 'I did not think it was the right time for me to say yes to the offer. But of course it was nice to be asked. I work for Manchester United and my career is going in the right direction.
'It would have been exciting to take on a much bigger job than my current job, but I have a job at United.'
Norway have now given the job to former national coach Egil Olsen for a three-game trial period.

The 1st time I heard this was when I wasn't watching soccer. And I didnt understand "dearer" at that time haha!
